Founded in 1946 by Emile Cornilleau , with its headquarters and manufacturing plant in Northern France, Cornilleau started in the carpentry business before expanding towards the table tennis business in 1969.
In 2003, Cornilleau became the largest European table tennis equipment manufacturer and a leading seller of premium quality table tennis products worldwide. Butterfly the World Leader in table tennis is a brand created by the Tamasu company of Japan in 1954.
